How the scanner checks your ticket
- It recognizes the game. Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto America, Millionaire for Life, Florida Lotto, Texas Lotto, Illinois Lotto, New York Lotto, California SuperLotto Plus, Fantasy 5 (CA and FL), Lotto 6/49, Lotto Max, UK Lotto, Thunderball, EuroMillions and France’s Loto.
- It reads every play line at once, including bonus balls, from one photo of the whole ticket.
- It uses the date printed on the ticket to check the draw the ticket was bought for. If the date can’t be read, the latest draw is used and the result says so.
- It shows each line’s result, with matched numbers highlighted and the prize tier for any winning line.
